Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Reverse Song mobile application and this website, both published by Appers Systems ("we", "us", "our"), based in Pakistan.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing or using Reverse Song, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app. You must be at least 13 years old to use Reverse Song. You must also comply with the Google Play Terms of Service, since the app is distributed through Google Play.

2. What the app does

Reverse Song is an entertainment app. It:

  • records short audio clips with your phone's microphone and plays them forwards or reversed;
  • runs the reverse singing challenge, and scores an attempt by comparing its melody and timing with the original recording;
  • offers song lines from traditional and public-domain songs, and a daily challenge;
  • applies speed, pitch and voice effects to your clips;
  • exports videos and audio files that you can save or share.

Scores are for fun. They measure how closely your attempt follows the original's melody and timing, and may not match how a person would judge your singing.

3. Your recordings and shared content

Your recordings belong to you and stay on your phone unless you share them. When you share or post a recording or video, you are responsible for having the right to do so, including for any song you sing and any other person whose voice is in the recording. The song lines provided in the app are traditional or public-domain works; songs you choose yourself may be protected by copyright.

4. Acceptable use

You agree that you will not:

  • use the app to break the law, infringe others' rights, or harass, bully or impersonate anyone;
  • record other people without their permission where the law requires it;
  • reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to derive the source code of the app, except where the law expressly permits it;
  • copy, resell, sublicense or redistribute the app;
  • interfere with the app's advertising, billing or analytics, or try to obtain Premium features without paying.

5. Premium subscriptions and billing

Reverse Song is free to download. Premium removes ads, removes the "made with Reverse Song" tag from videos, and unlocks every voice effect. It is sold as a monthly or yearly subscription through Google Play. We never see or store your payment details.

Payment is charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time through the Google Play Store.

  • Price and period: the price, billing period and any free-trial terms are shown in the app and on the Google Play purchase screen before you confirm.
  • Free trial: new customers may be offered a free trial on the yearly plan. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, the subscription starts and is charged automatically.
  • Cancelling: cancel in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Premium stays active until the end of the period you already paid for.
  • Refunds: refunds are handled by Google Play under Google Play's refund policy. Write to support@apperssystems.com and we will help where we can.
  • Changes: we may change prices or Premium features. We will tell you before a price change takes effect, and you can cancel if you do not accept it.

6. Advertising

The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob. Where consent is required, for example in the EEA and the UK, you are asked before personalised ads are shown, and you can change your choice in the app's Settings. Ads are not shown to Premium subscribers. We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads or the sites they link to.

7. Intellectual property

The app, its design, its artwork and the Reverse Song name belong to Appers Systems. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you control for your own non-commercial use. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The app and this website are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not promise that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will work on every Android device. Recordings are stored on your phone only, and we cannot restore them if they are lost.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Appers Systems will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data or recordings, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app or this website. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 10. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, or your rights under mandatory consumer law.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of mandatory consumer-law rules in your country of residence.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the app changes or as the law requires. We will update the date at the top and, for material changes, give notice in the app or on this site. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
